What makes a snack fun?
Sometimes, it is not only taste.
It is the way food feels.
At home, I open two small bags.
First, I eat senbei, a rice cracker.
It is crispy and makes a light sound.
Senbei is known for this crispy bite. (japan.travel)
But then, everything changes.
I eat mochi, a soft rice cake.
It is smooth and chewy.
Chewy means it takes time to bite.
Mochi gets this feel from sticky rice. (japan.travel)
The two snacks are very different.
That is the fun.
Next snack time, listen as you eat.
A small bite can bring a big smile.
