Do you keep your old work? Emi draws a small cat each night. At first, she thinks, “I am not good.” But she saves every picture in a book. A week later, she opens the book. The first cat looks very simple. The new cat looks much better. Now Emi can see her progress. Progress means moving closer to your goal. This can give motivation. Motivation means wanting to do something. So, keep your drawing, song, or page. Your work shows your small steps. Small steps can say, “Please keep going.”
