After work, I go to my first running club. A running club is a group that runs together. I feel tired and a little afraid.
A woman smiles and says, “Hello! Is this your first time?”
I say, “Yes. I am new.”
We start slowly. Some people run. Some people walk. I walk when I need a break. This is okay.
Running with a group can be safer. In the dark, bright clothes help people see you. (rrca.org)
After the run, we drink water. I say, “Thank you. See you next week!”
My legs are tired, but I feel happy. I now have a fun place after work.
