Why is the milk not cold?
I ask this in a supermarket abroad.
The milk sits on a normal shelf.
At home, I keep milk cold.
So, this looks strange.
Then I read the box.
It says “long-life milk.”
Long-life means it stays good longer.
Special heat and packing keep it safe.
It can stay outside the fridge, unopened.
But after opening, it needs the fridge. (fda.gov)
This small box shows daily life.
People shop, store, and drink differently.
So, visit a supermarket when you travel.
Daily culture may wait on one shelf.
