Why did + 主語 + 動詞の原形 ...?
「なぜ〜したの？」と過去のことを尋ねる基本の疑問文です。didの後ろの動詞は必ず原形にします。

訳: 今日はなぜ疲れているのだろう？

「〜できる」という能力や可能性を表す言い方です。canの後は必ず動詞の原形が来ます。

「だから〜した」と前の文の理由を受けて結果を続ける、話し言葉でよく使う形です。
