動詞の原形で文を始めると「〜しなさい」という指示や誘いになります。主語（you）は省略します。

訳: 日の出前に東を見てね。
『A is like B』で「AはBのようだ」と、あるものを別のものにたとえる表現です。

訳: 月は小さな目印のようです。
『help + 人 + 動詞の原形』で「人が〜するのを助ける」という意味になります。toは省略できます。

日の出前。'sun-up' は太陽が昇ることを指すくだけた言い方です。
