Do you see the tiny banana sticker?

I almost missed it this morning.

I ate a banana before school.

Then I held the yellow peel.

It was ready for the food bin.

But wait. The sticker was still there.

The peel can become compost.

Compost is food waste that becomes soil.

But many stickers have plastic.

They do not become soil.

So, I pulled off the sticker.

I put it in the trash.

Then the peel went into compost.

It was a very small job.

Next time, check your banana peel.

Small sticker, small action, cleaner soil.
