Smart agriculture, which utilizes ICT and robotic technologies like drones for remote monitoring and automation, promises to boost productivity and efficiency, though it comes with high implementation costs and the need for specialized knowledge. Additionally, the consolidation of farmland and the scaling up of operations are promoting mechanization, cost reduction, and sustainable farming practices. Urban farming is also gaining traction, making efficient use of limited space and promoting local consumption. Furthermore, the diversification of agriculture into the sixth industrialization, which involves not just production but also processing and sales, is adding value to agricultural products. Despite the challenges, the future of agriculture holds significant growth potential, driven by the spread of smart farming and sustainable practices. Notably, female participation in agricultural management has reached 32.1%, surpassing the percentage of female managers in general businesses, indicating that agriculture is a promising field for women. With ongoing efforts to overcome obstacles, agriculture is expected to evolve into a sustainable and attractive industry.
