Do you know the person next door?
Today, many people only say hello. A neighbor lives near you. I did not know my neighbor.
Then, one rainy morning, we met outside. I felt shy, but I smiled. I said, “Good morning.”
She smiled and shared her umbrella. Then she said, “Take care.”
That small hello changed my day. Now we greet each other often. We are not close friends. But our home feels warmer.
A kind street can start small. Sometimes, one hello opens a door.
