Shopping on a phone is changing fast. In the March 3, 2026 Pixel Drop, Google added a new shopping tool to Pixel. On Pixel 10 devices, Circle to Search can now look at a whole outfit, not just one item. If you see a nice coat, shoes, and bag on your screen, you can circle the full look. Then Google tries to find each piece for you in one search. Google said the update started rolling out on March 3 and would continue over the next several weeks. (blog.google)
The most exciting part is the new “Try It On” button. After you find an eligible clothing item, you can tap the button inside Circle to Search and see the item on a model or on your own photo. Google’s shopping help page says the system uses AI to combine your photo with the product image and make a new picture. This feature is available for logged-in users age 18 and older in places including the U.S., Japan, the U.K., Australia, Canada, and India. It works across Google Shopping, Google Search, and Google Images. (blog.google)
There are some limits, of course. Google says Try-On supports tops, bottoms, and dresses, but not every product is eligible. Sponsored shopping results do not show the Try It On button. For better results, your photo should have good light, a clean background, and no other people. Google also warns that AI pictures can make mistakes, and the image does not promise the real fit or size of the clothes. (support.google.com)
Still, this feels like a small future in your hand. In the past, online shopping often meant guessing. Now, your phone can act a little like a fitting room. For English learners, this is also a useful phrase to remember: “try it on.” In a store, you try on clothes in a room. On a Pixel phone, you may soon try them on with AI first.
